I love this place. Not the cheapest place to eat, but sooooo yummy and soooo filling.

From what i remember they don't charge corkage or cakage!

Overall:
Food: Really Really Really Really Yummy. Servings were that big, but very filling
Service: Great. The waiters and waitress are very friendly, but its the owners that remember you and are just sooo friendly.
Price: we did full and 2 doggy bags for $20 a head.
Parking: roadside, but it gets hard at that time of night as there are other restaurant around
Recommended: yum yum thai in my tum, you really should go if thai is your thing.

Nymboida Coaching Station - 18th Feb

Reportedly owned by one Mr Russell Crowe, managed by a family friend, this beautiful little restaurant/bar/hotel/function centre is nestled in the beautiful hills that curve around the Nymboida River in Northern New South Wales.
IT has a big history as the coaching station for all the people, and watering hole for horse and cattle, through the ages, it has now been renovated to be watering hole of this day and age. It holds many relics from history, and a few really impressive snake skins.
We went down that way to visit Marks old stomping ground, his nan and aunts.

Overall:
Food: Really good, huge serving, and they can do a decent sauce
Service: Very mixed. Wait staff were brilliant. soo helpful and friendly, however the manager was very rude. "30 years i've been in this business" doesn't mean she's done it well.
Price: very decent prices for the servings, $20 was the most expensive meal and that was rib fillet steak with a great helping of sides
Parking: Being out in the country, this is something they really don't lack for. the drive down there from brisvegas is more the issue.
Recommended: Its well worth a look in, if your in that part of the world.

Renu Thai- a few occasions

Generally we go there when we want a really tasty meal, close to home thats cheap.
been there a few times now... they have a great little selection from their bay maree.
Service is pretty good, as you just walk up and tell them what you want. You can order specially made noodle dishes and stirfries, however we haven't before. water and cutlery is self serve

Overall:
Food: Nice and decent servings.
Service: Not bad at all. people are very friendly.
Price: quite decent $8 for rice and 3 dishes from their bay-maree, noodles about $10 a pop
Parking:Woolies toowong or toowong village
Recommended to others: Yes, is a good little student eat out.

Punjabi Palace -West end 28th December Dinner

Now we have eaten here on quite a few occasions, but not since we have started this whole website. So now we are finally doing this restaurant.
Our having been many a time, with our resited Indian experts, is certification the the worth of this restaurant.
Although i have not noticed myself, but have been told by the gang prior to my joining, the prices have risen whilst the servings have shrunk..

Overall:
Food: YUMYUM INDIAN IN MY TUM!
Service: they have always been very busy when we are there, and we are always the noisey table so service for us is usually not great
Price: about $16 a dish plus rice...
Parking: coles parking near by, and on the road side.
Recommended to others: Yes, yes if you like indian.

A Salt and battery - 18th December

Was the work party eating place. near uni, which meant it was a short walk to and back.
does a nice set of fish and chip style foods. Not my favourite place to eat, but then fried fish was never my thing

Overall:
Food: decent servings. tastes like fish and chips
Service: food arrived okay, we were a large group.
Price: Not the cheapest meals, as its trying to be slightly classy.
Parking:They have a car park, behind and in front
Recommended to others: Why not if you like fish and chips.

Amore on High- Sept 04 Bob's bday

This was a very high class restaurant, or it is priced to be, but the service just isn't quite there for the price. mood lighting made the menu a little hard to read. wasnt our pick, but we went cause it was bob's bday. dessert took a long time to come out. we were told that they were short chefed( jokes were made) however its was still way tooo long.

Overall:
Food: Nice enough.
Service: Staff were friendly enough, however service was very very very slow. 2 course meal took about 2 and half hours.
Price: Exxy. the cheapest meals where $16 and they were salads and pastas. breads and dips to the value of $9 were 4 stips of pita bread and 3 dipping saucers about 5cm across
Parking:Toowong village and woolies have parks
Recommended to others: Not for the price. You could go to a nice cafe and get the same for cheaper
