and -1st Aug Lunch

Okay, we don't post our fast food eating joints normally, but this one really deserves a mention.

And is an asian fast food joint. It specializes in Rice Burgers and Bubble tea, two very asian concepts. "Rice Burgers?" you say..... yes we were saying that too.

Its a burger, with all burger insides(meat, tomato, lettuce, sauce) and rice, instead of bread.
The thing, apart from the rice, is that you can choose what meat you want as the filling, and what style of cooking you wish it to be done in.
You can have "Fusion sets" (meal deals) however, unless you do eat a bit and want a bubble tea, the burger on its lonesome will suffice perfectly.
They too have also started out (1 month) and they need all the support they can get. We believe that they would do really well in the City, however the rent must have been a bit much for them, as a start up business.
They are located in the food court of Toowong village... when you get there you won't miss it... just read the sign.

Overall:
Food: Very Nice, and healthy.
Service: Great. The girls are sooo friendly and always wanting to help
Length of wait: 5 mins for the filling of your choice to be cooked.
Price: Very decent, as burgers go. But great value cause they fill better than most burgers of the same price.
Parking:Toowong Village Shopping centre car park.
Recommended to others: Yes, yes, yes. Excellent place for a quick lunch, or healthy afternoon tea.

UPDATE
We haven't been out there for a little while now. just over a month, and it seems that last time i ordered there( 8 burgers) i left some change($14). The girls kept the change, made a poster looking for the "Sunshine girl" and waited for 3 weeks. I didn't turn up, they lost the poster. And today (4th Sept) when i went in they had an envelope with my name( sunshine girl) and money.
They are good people.

Cafe Midoro - 30th July Dinner

It was opening night for the new cafe of Risa Langford.... Myrtle and Nyomia's older syster.
And we being the good friend that we are, stumbled across it by accident, and booked for the opening dinner.
Cafe Midoro serves Filipino Spanish Styled foods and is also a very inviting Cafe.
Dinner was nice, however the service did have the bugs that all new businesses have to iron out. Being its very first night, and having only finished all renovations that morning, they were doing well.... without their cash register.

Overall:
Food: Nice
Service: pretty good. They need to work out the logistics a bit more.
Length of wait: Meals took about 20 minutes or so, varied between people at the table.
Price: A little pricey, but we believe they will settle into it in a while.
Parking: Free parking on the streets, and at Indooroopilly shopping centre.
Recommended to others: Yes, nice food, relaxing atmoshphere, and great people.
